Features

Currently implemented features are:

A GUI mode using the Qt toolkit;
A CLI (command line interface) mode;
Track scanning and automatic creation of a navigable list of all tracks with their length and chapters;
Display of other necessary DVD info, including available audio and subtitle languages;
Automatic video bitrate calculation based on selected tracks, desired output (.AVI) file size and the audio bitrate;
A ripping progress meter with start / stop button;
One-pass, two-pass and three-pass encoding options to choose between speed and quality (see docs)
The option of DivX and XviD codecs
A PDA mode, which resizes the video to work best with PDAs;
Automatic cropping to remove black borders
You can set various advanced options to work around odd installations of mplayer/transcode, interlaced DVDs and strange aspect ratios
